I am back from Shanghai and Suzhou and I shall talk about some of the events that happened during the trip. It’s a lousy weather over the weekends because it rained! The trip to Shanghai was almost like 4 hours? I just lost track of time over there. The lunch on the 1st day was below average but it was edible. As usual, we finished the food cleaner than the other tables because we were quite hungry. The meals following got better and better but we are always the table to finish every dish till the plate is completely white. We paid $160rmb to go for a cruise and a trip to the Oriental Pearl Tower. The weather was bad bad bad!! Due to the rain, the sky was very foggy. We took pictures on the deck of the ship and then went down and sat to admire the sea view. But then we could not stand the people smoking in the ship. It was very cramped in the ship and they were smoking us out. We simply could not stand the smell but had to endure through out the whole cruise. After dinner, we went to the tower and saw nothing but fog on the 263th floor. It was a dampening sight but we were being asked to go down to the 90th floor to view the night scene. It was rather nice and consoling but then it is out in the open air! Imagine being on the 90th floor and facing the cold wind blowing from outside? Brrr…
The hotel room was great! Not because the walls and beds are in pink but then the whole interior design and the cleanliness is good. I finally can sleep on a mattress bed after 1 month and sit on a toilet bowl! It’s rather legs-relaxing. Haha..
On the second day, we visited the temple, Han Shan Si, Su Zhou Yuan Lin, The Pear-Making Distribution Centre and Suzhou-Singapore Industrial Area. I spent a sum at the pearl centre because pearl powder is a good thing to bring home as gifts for family and friends. I bought 2 pearl facial creams and one pearl necklace and bracelet for my mum. I hope she likes it. The Suzhou-Singapore area was really very Singaporean!
After which we reached school at 8.30pm on Sunday.
One word to describe Debbie’s shopping behaviour- Uncontrollable!!!!!!!!!

I am having a headache now. Assignments are rushing in!!!

Today i ate at the korean restaurant again. Nice* and it's only $3 Sing dollars for a beef steamboat and a plate of sushi!! Haha.

I Not Handsome Ep 12 and 13 is out already!! Because the DVD is out. Which means i have to wait another 2 weeks to watch the 14th episode. Haiz.

I am having night class tomorrow due to a change in timetable. So i think i shall haf to slack from morning 10am to 6.30pm. It's all the teacher's fault. I am slacking to wait for the next lesson to start. And as usual, i cannot tag at my tagboard again. I do not know why but perhaps i will just have to reply here then.

The fate show really very nice, Shuyi, go and watch.

Jazebel, you should also go watch that show, the guy inside look abit like ming dao also.

Jooting, i try to look out for you. The weeks are here are getting boring each week. Every monday and tuesday is a torture for me. It is because all of them are lectures and there are chinese literature and chinese history. I do not know why they hold their lessons so early in the morning. It's like eating sleeping pills while the lectures are going on. I am glad that wednesday is arriving tomorrow because i cannot wait for weekends to come!!!

Anyway, this weekend i will be travelling to Shanghai and Suzhou. Next wednesday, i will be flying to Xi An for 3 days. I hope my last thousand can last through the week. I do not know whether i am overspending or not because after this month, i have already spent almost close to $2000RMB already????

This week's work load is kinda heavy, but then all thanks to my determination, i have finished them. All i have to do now is revision!! Ming Zhong Zhu Ding Wo Ai Ni is nice!!! I cannot wait for the 3rd episode to come out! Oh by the way, I Not Handsome is also a great show to catch!!! Yoz..sorry for not updating so often because i was kinda of lazy! Haha.

Anyway, these few days i have been going out to shop around and one trip is like half a day and i am always very tired after every trip out for shopping.

I do not know why but i just cannot tag at every tagboard i go to. So don't blame me for not tagging although i do vist every blog i go to everyday.

I am here for almost one month!! 3 months more and i will be back!! Yesterday was a torturing day. I had 4 plus hours of Chinese History lecture. The teacher always make use of the tutorial times as lecture class. Buay Tahan! I went to Auchan to buy tidbits again because Auchan was having a promotion. I spent $125rmb yesterday on food and groceries. I wonder how much i am going to spend next month when i have already spent so much this month. Today i finally talked to my family online through SKYPE! This skype thing is really very convenient. No phone charges needed, only electricity needed, which is a good thing for me because i am always using my laptop.

We gave jean a big surprise today! A few days ago, she went to Auchan and saw a genie belt from disney that she really liked. She was hesitant of buying because of the price which was $118rmb. So she decided to ask her dad if she could buy the belt. However, her "dearest" dad said don't buy anything that they don't need!!! This statement upsets her so much because she really liked the belt. Lindi knew Jean liked the belt very much and called us if we would like to share the belt and present it as her birthday gift. We agreed and while jean was walking away with trina, lindi and yiting went to buy the belt. She was really touched and cried when we gave her the surprise. It was pleasant to see her smile again.

I finished my chinese literature tutorial in one day. Haha... No more homework!! I ate KFS today which is an imitation of KFC. It's rather nice just that the flour put too much liao la.. Somehow i feel that the weekends here are longer than the weekends that i spent in Singapore. However, the weekdays here are shorter than the weekdays in Singapore. Haha... I like this kind of change because weekdays are used for studying. I bought a long sleeved shirt at $20rmb. This is the 1st time i bought a shirt over here. I am resisitng my craving for shopping till summer because that will be the season where the things are more suitable for Singapore's use. I wonder whether i will miss here when i go back. I think i will miss the prices here the most because the things here are so many times cheaper than Singapore. I think i will be able to buy gifts back. Haha.. Yes!! I am finally online!! The internet yesterday and today is really very unstable. Yesterday morning i was still online and when i connect at night, the connection was dead. Four persons staying in one room is really a chore. Some people just do not know how to understand other people. It is as if she is the biggest here and everyone should let her things only in her way. She does not think for people like people may have to study so better lower down your volume when you are chatting online. There are many other things that you do but then you do not realise that it is your fault. So, i also do not wanna talk to you about it because you are only living in your own world. And that is why people say 相识容易，相处难。I agree to this saying more than ever. 忍一时，海阔天空。就不知道我能忍到什么程度。我也不想多说什么，如果你看到我写的这些，请你好好地反省。 I received my exam reaults early in the morning and i gt all Bs again. But i do not know why my GPA dropped!! I gt the same number of Bs and B+s as last semester and i gt 3.2 last semester!! But now, i got onl 3.167. Haiz.. Today Mr Yeo treated us to dinner again. Actually we did not want to go for the dinner but he messaged lindi to call us to join TO2 for dinner again. And so, we agreed. And today's dinner was at a restaurant just beside the school. Mr Yeo spent $508rmb in total. It was really a nice and delicious dinner. It was incredible!!! I shall upload the pictures tomorrow because today's internet is really slow! Yo! I am uploading all the photos i had taken over the 2 weeks in China. So take a good look at the good and bad things here. Today we had dinner with our new media teacher, Mr Yeo. He treated us to dinner today and it was delicious! He does really know how to order china dishes!

Today i went to Ling Yin Si for a trip of sight seeing. I spent $65rmb just to enter the temple. I do not understand why we have to pay for a trip to the temple, it is so ridiculous. Ok, i shall upload some random pictures that i have taken over the 2 weeks in Hangzhou.
I went to the bookstore and bought 2 books of the Hong Lou Meng for $60RMB. The books are so thick and difficult, i wonder if i can finish reading before the assignment deadline. The jeans are selling at $40rmb per pair over here in China which is like $8 sing dollars?? I think I am going to buy alot of things when i am about 1 week away from going home. Oh! I forgot to mention that i have been selected as the in charge for our group's recreation and performance interest group. How come i am always being selected to be in charge of this kind of things? It's all Ray's fault. It is not so easy to organise a group you know? I thought i can put off everything about cca off my mind but then fate is fooling me around.

It rained today!!! AGAIN!! Tomorrow's temperature is 5-8 degrees. Which is almost the same as today. Oh no...cold~~

We went shopping at Auchan today. And we a group of 7 people spents almost $800 RMB just to buy the necessities for the hostel. We have a private chauffeur for our trips out! The uncle only collects $10 for 7 people to go Auchan. It is like only $2 in Singapore! Whoo~~

We are going to the bookstore tomorrow. So, our private chauffeur will be here to fetch us there again. Haha.. It rained today in such a cold season! My lesson has ended for the day! But then we are going to have a class meeting later at 5pm. So i will be updating briefly for today. We had philosohy tutorial today, it was quite fun and i managed to stay awake for the lesson. Chinese literature is really a torture for my brain, because we are learning almost the same thing as we had in ngee ann when we were in year 1.


Friday is on the way... 122 days to go.. I can enter and view my blog finally. All thanks to vivia who provided me the web url www.anonymouse.org, enabling me to view all the blogs. Time is really passing very slow here as it is only the 6th day i have arrived China.

The internet connection here is really slow. But the waiting time for the laptop to connect to the internet is even slower because the chance to connect on the 1st attempt is like buying 4D or Toto wanting to aim for the 1st prize.

The food here is really oily and salty. I really have no idea what to eat during lunch and dinner everyday. It is a really hard choice to make. Today i finally found something similar to Singapore to eat, and that is the mee sua.

Our classes here are boring! Especially the history, though the teacher is cute and humourous but i just cannot help myself from feeling tired and sleepy. Today i had philosophy class, the same feeling came over me. The books we bought are so cheem. I don't understand it even though i tried my best to read it thoroughly.

I miss home.. OMG!!! I am finally online!!

But then, i still cannot enter my blog, i can only update my blog. The trip to China was saddening. Everyone did not want to leave the country. Everyone was crying, but i held on to my tears. It was hard but i kinda of did it.

When we reached the Shanghai airport, i can see smoke coming out of my mouth when i talk! It's so amazing but it is cold too. The temperature here was about 4 degrees when we reached. It is really cold at night such that we had a hard time bathing. Although there is heater but then we could not stop shivering once we off the shower tap. The internet and communication service was not acivated and we could not contact anyone at all. But luckily, i still have auto roaming. The internet here ends at 11pm and the lights too. So we have to turn in rather early.

On day 2, we went to the shopping centre at the other side of the state. We took a taxi there. The traffic here is horrendous, the cars are not afraid of people and it is so much difficult to cross the roads here. I did not join my room mates for dinner and i stayed in the room to call home. Sad day.

Tried the internet connection for 2 days and ytd nite it finally worked! But then the msn was a big problem for me. Until then, i am able to use it properly already. This morning we went to the famous attraction of Hangzhou, The West lake. We are starting school tomorrow. Sad.
