FACEBOOK changed their terms of service two weeks ago, which in effect said they owned all your pictures, information, and anything you wrote on your account even if you cancelled it. That upset a lot of people, and they protested … a lot, even on Facebook pages, so Facebook released this statement:
Terms of Use Update Over the past few days, we have received a lot of good feedback about the new terms we posted two weeks ago. Because of this response, we have decided to return to our previous Terms of Use while we resolve the issues that people have raised.
This just means Facebook still owns all your stuff, they’re just taking more time to find the correct legal language that will fool you into thinking you have the power, when they actually have all your stuff on their servers. The only way around this is to post your important stuff on your own web site or blog that you actually own. Another way around this would be for Facebook to offer paid subscriptions that allow you to own your account because you’re paying for it. Free usually means you take what you can get, including terms of service that violate your assumed rights. Nothing comes without a price.

Teaching life is boring yet it is comforting because tuitioning does not need to do any homework! Haha, so today after tuitioning for consecutive 3 hours, we headed down to Mr Tay's house for new year visit. It's been 4 years since we graduated from secondary school and i am glad that we are still in contact with the teachers. The greatest regret for me was after primary school. I moved house and lost contact with teachers and friends and i had not been able to see them so often. Speaking of this, the primary school gathering has clashed with the secondary school gathering yet again for the 3rd time already. I do not know why these 2 gatherings alway choose the same day and dates. It's always giving me a headache which one to go.
Some photos below:
Mr Tay's son, Julian, very chubby and hyperactive, cannot settle down even for a minute. He is 2 already!! I always know how to take blurry photos..heheheheh..
